How do I let my let you know that I am available for work?

Call us directly and speak to your Consultant – By regularly providing us with your availability, this will also enable your Consultant to advise you of live opportunities!


How many hours can you offer me as a locum?

This really depends upon your lifestyle! As a specialist, Healthcare multi-framework approved Recruitment Consultancy, we have access to 1000s of permanent and locum vacancies across England. We will match these opportunities to your needs but this could be anything from a full-time contract basis, weekend work, nights only or a couple of shifts at agreed frequencies. This really is down to you!


Why do you need so many compliance documents from me?

Positive Healthcare PLC is a specialist, multi-framework approved recruitment consultancy. As such we have unprecedented access to 1000’s of shifts on a daily basis in Hospitals throughout England. Patient Safety is central to our world and as a framework agency, we are bound by each frameworks’ compliance requirements. These standards protect everyone and we are proud of this.


How much will I get paid?

Pay rates are based upon various factors such as Framework, Hospital, Private or NHS, Speciality, Grade/Band, location, pay vehicle. The best way to get a definitive answer is to call one of our specialist consultants who will be able to provide the very latest, specific market advice.


How quickly can I become compliant?

We aim to get every new applicant fully compliant and out to work within a maximum of 2 weeks from initial pre-screen. This however, primarily depends upon how quickly you are able to provide your documents. Every day you do not work equates to an unfilled shift and consequently, a patient who has missed out on your care. We want to guide you through the process as efficiently as possible.


Am I allowed to work for other agencies?

Yes – But you certainly don’t need to! If you are exclusively committed to working for a Positive Healthcare PLC company, you will have unrivalled access to shifts throughout England, at a frequency that you dictate. Clearly, if you are exclusively registered with us, you will have access to all of these opportunities as a priority applicant!


When is the weekly timesheet deadline?

Tuesday 10am


Can I work through an Umbrella LTD company?

Yes. We have a preferred suppliers list of Umbrella companies that we regularly work with. Your Consultant will be happy to share this list with you, which is reviewed on a quarterly basis.


Who do I speak to if I would like to make a complaint?
